About FlashFlight Discs and Balls

FlashFlight makes the very popular original FlashFlight lighted frisbee disc, the Disc-O color-changing lighted frisbee-type disc, and the Dog Discuit light-up disc for dogs. The original FlashFlight and the Disc-O are the exact some thing, except that the Disc-O LEDs change color.

The Dog Discuit is similar, but the material is more flexible to make it almost crack proof and to withstand being chomped on by dogs. The switch is also a different design so that Rover doesn't bite it off. While being very tough, the Dog Discuit is not indestructible. If you let a large dog chew on it for an extended period of time, they can still tear it up. It's good to use as a dog frisbee, but not as a chew toy while the dog is alone.

The Meteorlight is a very solid, lighted ball that is mainly intended for dogs. It's a tiny bit larger than a tennis ball, and is lighted by an internal LED. They are very strong and very sturdy - we've slammed ours full force into concrete, and it just bounces undamaged -, but they can also be destroyed by large dogs if left out as a chew toy. The Meteorlight is also popular with small children, but it not recommended as an indoor toy. (It's heavy enough to break a window or knock over a vase if thrown indoors.)

FlashFlight flying discs are the same type of discs as Wham-O Frisbees, but they are not Frisbees and they are not made by Wham-O.
