FAQ How do the Down Unders Topless Sandals work? There is a special adhesive on the insole that sticks to the skin on the sole of your foot, leaving the top of your foot 100% exposed to sun and air. How long do they stay sticky? The pair we tried out stayed sticky for 2 or 3 days. The manufacturer says that the stickiness can be restored by washing the sandals, and they warranty them for one year. If they don't stay sticky that long, just mail them to the manufacturer and they will send a replacement. (TealCo is a vendor, not the manufacturer. The manufacturer does not sell retail, and TealCo.net does not honor their warranty.) Can I wear topless sandals while I swim? No. Water will make them fall off until they are dry. Can I wear any other brand of stick-on sandals with wet feet? No. They're all the same brand from the same factory. Some of the shipments we get from the manufacturer say Koasters, some say Down Unders, some say some other kooky name. But they're all the same thing from the same factory, just with a different name of the package. Can I choose which pattern I want? No, sorry. There are hundreds of different patterns all mixed random in big boxes from the manufacturer, and there are very few of each particular pattern. When you have the sandals on your feet you can't see the pattern! Your foot covers the whole thing!  (Some web sites have a picture of feet with purple toenails and matching purple topless sandals, but that is not the way they really look. There would be a gross looking cake of dirt stuck to the exposed adhesive if you let the sandals stick out like that. The colors on your topless sandals matter as much as the colors on your usual shoes' insoles.) We do match toe-thong colors with the sandals even though it really doesn't make any difference.
